Sim Tower is now available for Mac! It is time to play this nostalgic game again on your Mac. I used the free abandonware version from Abandonia.com in this Wrapper and works quite nice. The game is windowed and can be slightly adjusted in size stretching the window using the corners of the window. Hope you guys like it! Have fun, its free!
Impassioned fowl mac os. The PowerMac G4 MDD was Apple's last Mac capable of dual-booting into both Mac OS 9 and OS X. The last of the G4 towers, this model was originally introduced in 2002, briefly evolved into an OS X-only configuration with FireWire 800 in 2003, then returned to the original design for another year. Up to 500W power for an MPX Module Alternatively, each MPX bay can support: One full-length, double-wide x16 gen 3 slot and one full-length, double-wide x8 gen 3 slot (MPX bay 1) Or two full-length, double-wide x16 gen 3 slots (MPX bay 2). There are PPC G5's which cannotuse Snow Leopard, and there are Mac Pro towers with Intel processors that CAN run Snow Leopard. The machines have similar looks, but are very different. If your tower has two optical drive bays and has Intel processor(s), it is a Mac Pro and can run Snow Leopard.
Bugs and tips (Thanks Michael Stenlund):
1. To save a game you need to overwrite one of the 3 save games (save1, save2 or save3) I put into the save folder.
2. The windows: Info Bar and Map Window can not be dragged and moved around.
3. Changing costs involves using arrow keys instead of mouse. For the player to be able to change a cost, for example, the cost to rent a hotel room, they need to click the cost and use the arrow keys before the cost will be saved by clicking OK. As the memory use intensifies for this program, after several hours of gameplay it has been noted that the using the arrow keys is not enough. The next solution is to use the arrow keys, click OK, and repeat that step up to 5x to save the new price. A quick cmd+tab to Mac OS X and tab back to Wine solves the issue instantly.
4. No full screen
SimTower allows the player to build and manage the operations of a modern, multi-use skyscraper. They must plan where to place facilities in the tower that include restaurants, condominiums, offices, and elevators. To prevent tenants from vacating their properties, the player must keep their stress low by fulfilling their demands for medical centers, parking lots, recycling facilities, clean hotel rooms with the help of housekeepers, and an efficient transportation system, which involves managing elevator traffic. SimTower, which was built around an elevator simulation program, places a strong emphasis on good elevator management.

As for Power BI Desktop, we can run on Mac OS X in two ways :
- Create a virtual machine in Azure, install Power BI desktop there and access your Power BI cloud workstation via Mac OS X Remote Desktop apps like the sweet Remote Desktop app Microsoft Remote Desktop for Mac.
- Install Parallels Desktop on your Mac, load up a Windows 10 ISO, install Windows, and load Power BI Desktop on this local virtual machine. Utilise Parallels Desktop to create a seamless Power BI Desktop experience by creating a user friendly shortcut that makes you think you are running Power BI Desktop as a native Mac OS X app.
Parallels has three flavours :
- Standard edition supporting up to 4 processors and 8gb of RAM
- Pro edition capable of more than 4 processors and up to 64Gb of RAM
- Business edition – Pro edition with Centralised Management capability

You can also install Parallels Access Agent allowing you to Remote Control your Mac over the internet.
